Jennifer Mendez, born in Washington D.C. in 1991, has had a passion for writing since as long as she can remember. She's been doing it professionally since 2006. You can find her work on dctravelblog, Helium, and now Hubpages. She's also been published in The Gazette, a local Maryland newspaper. Jennifer is currently working on her own gardening website, working toward a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Maryland University College, and working towards a career in professional writing.
